Using the WinGIS Property Search
| Enter a property's address, minus street descriptions such as "Drive"(Dr) or "Lane(Ln)". For example, 404 W. Elm St would be "404 elm".
Enter a property's pin with or without dashes. For example, 1234567890 or 12-34-567-890. Always keep in mind, the more specific the search
the fewer the results. For example (when searching for parcel numbers) 1234567890 should return one result since it is an actual pin number, while
1234567 should return all parcel numbers that start with those 7 digits. Same principle applies for addresses. 11380 Main (unless of course, there is a 11380 N. Main and S. Main)
will return single result, while 113 Main will return
all addresses with 113 and Main in them. |
Search Results
Results from your search will appear below the search box. Each record will contain the property's parcel number and address as well as the option to
select/zoom. Select/zoom will zoom the map
to that location as well as place the parcel details in the
Parcel Details tab.
Printing
The
Print tab has two options. The first option, Printing w/Parcel Details, prints a snapshot of the propery with some general parcel details. It does
not make a copy of the current map view. For that, use the second option,
Create printable image of current map view . For instance, if you have
zoomed in/out or panned since initially zooming to the selected parcel, it will be represented in this image but will contain no parcel details.
Tips for Using the Map
To
Pan the map to the east, west, north and south as well as diagonally (northwest, southeast, etc) use the arrows located on the top, bottom
